We had 9 people, early 20s, ourselves (late 40s) and parents (70s). What an amazing week. The two units with the pool in between was so perfect. Great location right on the beach, private pool we spent hours in, and a great AMI location. The pictures don't do the location or property justice. Everything was working perfectly, the pool and spa were spotless, and the access and view of the beach (and sunset) were perfect. Thank you!!!

Great trip and experience. The property was great for large group and gave just enough privacy yet togetherness. Will be back. I would like to make a couple recommendations: include more details on how the house recycles as it wasn’t clear to us. Create a document for guests to easily list any issues that might help the owner make site maintenance improvements.

Great house, great location, excellent service throughout stay. There were a couple of small issues, but property manager took care of them quickly. House could use a little overall Maintenance (ice machines, hot tub, etc.) but there will always be a little of that. Overall an excellent place to stay.

We were at the Blue Horizon two years ago and just returned to Houston after our second visit. Incredible once again. Plenty of space for everyone, got really lucky with the weather as it was spectacular all week, beach was perfect. Had family and friends from OKC, NYC, Pittsburgh, Miami, Tampa, Little Rock. Great time.

We loved this property. So much to do for all ages - volleyball court, pool, hot tub, beach, outdoor space. We had a group of 14 people and had plenty of room for everyone.

Big house with beautiful view and lots of space for families! Nice backdrop for family photos. Maybe not as great for families of toddler children as there are many stairs to maneuver and tall furniture and glass decor. The private heated pool and hot tub was wonderful for kids to play in any time of day. Loved being right on the beach but this house is a bit noisy on the main island road and across from a gas station but then this did give easy access to stores/restaurants. There were several maintenance issues (dishwasher didn't work, microwave didn't work, door to go to pool came off track) so we wound up doing lots of dishes by hand on vacation. Maintenance guy was nice and did come mid-week and fix most of the issues except the dishwasher. Anna Maria Properties did a fantastic job communicating with us!

We are so sorry that there were some maintenance issues during your stay ~ we strive to have every guest have a hassle-free vacation with us, but things do break. I'm glad that the owner's handyman was able to fix almost everything in a timely manner and that the communication with Anna Maria Vacations was worth noting. We celebrated my mom's 70th birthday with 10 kids (under the age of 10) and 10 adults. The set up was perfect with both houses, pool in between, right on the beach, etc. We would (and hopefully will) rent this house in the future! We weren't on top of each other with the bedroom layouts and the multiple kitchens. Great location, convenient to the downtown area with restaurants and shops. The beach was not packed with people, so we didn't feel crowded or like we needed to save a spot. There were alarms on the doors that led to the pool, which made the parents so much more comfortable. A couple of things we know for time: - Each kitchen only had a few glasses, mugs, etc. Good idea to bring extra or disposable. If you plan on cooking most of your meals, as we did, the main kitchen has pans, pots, etc., but the others don't. - The wifi isn't great in some of the bedrooms and spaces. Not a big deal, but fyi. - We brought bikes for the kids, but there isn't really a place for them to ride and the beach is softer than on the east coast. - Plenty of beach towels, tv's and roku's in each bedroom and living area (loved this! so nice!)

We enjoyed an amazing vacation at the Blue Horizon with another family. We had 4 adults and 8 teenagers and we had room for guests! I would definitely recommend this rental for multi-family or multi-generational vacations.

Even had dolphins swimming in front of the place the last day. Top shelf property! Baby gates, were a big help. The doors to the pool chime so we also had that piece of mind. We would definitely stay again!

We had 15 family members stay for a week and it was fabulous. The houses were fully equipped with everything we needed including beach towels. We loved watching the kids play volleyball in front of the house from the deck. You will love this property.

We rented the Blue Horizon for 5 families. This house and location did not disappoint. The beach was literally steps outside our door. The amenities in this house were very accommodating. There was a lot of construction going on while we stayed, the parking was not easy as there were 5 cars, but we managed. One person did get the front of his rental vehicle scratched from people parking at the beach parking. There is not a stove in every "kitchen" area, but there is a fridge and dishwasher. The pool area is beautiful and the grounds are very well maintained as well. Publix is right down the road. This property is located in a great spot. House immaculate, we would definitely rent again!

This was the most beautiful, well equipped, perfect vacation home for large families. The home is gorgeous, right on the beach, with so much to do, you really don't even have to leave the house. It deserves more than 5 stars!

This was by far the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! It truly does have it all! Was beautifully decorated and has awesome views of the beach! The area was really nice too, bustling with shops, great restaurants, friendly people everywhere we went! Only problem we encountered was the wifi, but we were on vacation so having all our family together, playing cards, singing and having a great week we barely noticed! We loved our week here wish it could have been longer !

Our extended family of 15 loved The Blue Horizon. The location on the beach, the décor of the house, the pool, the covered patio, were exceptional features of this vacation home. We had the adult children in one house ( they stay up late and get up late) and the young children and older adults in the larger home. It worked out perfectly. Nothing was overlooked in this home. I just returned from 5 days of bliss at the Blue Horizon with 13 mom friends. This house is loaded with amenities/views. We were able to be comfortably spread out and enjoyed the entire property. There seems to be a nook to hide away and escape for everyone and main entertaining areas that also large enough that accommodated our large group when we did happen to all be present in one area during meal times. This place was very clean, was decorated to be comfortable for relaxing/lounging and it had a lot of wonderful touches throughout. Although I didn't have regular contact with the property manager, they seemed to have been highly accessible and helpful especially compared to the last property our group rented from. We had a small hiccup with the jacuzzi and we placed a call and a maintenance man arrived in a reasonable amount of time who was very helpful and was able to solve the issue. Little details in the decorating make it feel like a true luxury property, like the unique light fixtures and cabinet hardware and art in some of the bathrooms. Appliances are new and clean. Hot water was in good supply. There seem to be hidden blow dryers in some of the bathroom cabinets even though we read somewhere to bring your own. There is a blender, coffee maker and toaster available. Lots of large utensils and a modest supply of basic spices/seasonings left behind in the kitchen. The linens felt nice and not poor quality. We also had access to beach towels. It would be perfect for a family reunion with how each floor in each house seems to be its own little apartment with its own kitchen. One piece of advice is that during the week at this time, there is construction going on in the surrounding lots and if you are a light sleeper, a pair of ear plugs is helpful. Wifi is offered but many of us struggled with phone service. Verizon seemed to be better than AT&T. A sure sign we all should have completely unplugged. We also were able to log in to one of our amazon prime accounts and enjoyed a movie on one of the smart tv's. The beach/views are stunning! There were lots of chairs and other fun pool toys, noodles, etc available. Many of the ladies I went with enjoyed the hammock, a nearby spa and yoga on the beach. Many things are within walking distance. Really, all you need to bring is your sunscreen, bathing suits, sunglasses and something cold to drink. Flip flops optional. No need to go crazy packing. Our extended family (17 adults, 4 children) stayed at the Blue Horizon recently. The main house and guest house are magnificent! The view and proximity to the water were fantastic. We would recommend this property to any one. The houses are very clean, beautifully decorated and well maintained. They are equipped with everything that a family needs for a beach vacation! It is a wonderful property. We definitely want to stay at the Blue Horizon again. Every family vacation will now be compared to our time at the Blue Horizon! This is not a negative as it was made very clear that the pool may not be warm enough in the winter. You may want to consider charging an optional extra fee in the winter to heat the pool to a warmer temperature since you have gas pool heat. We would have been willing to pay an additional amount.

We stayed for 2 nights for a quick family 60th birthday celebration. Just a lovely home, way better than as described or the pictures shown. We use VRBO quite often and normally stay at luxury properties. This was decorated and furnished as nice as any we have stayed at from Beaver Creek, Breckenridge to Key West. Just a georgous home.
